Again Lilith has made some wonderful fan art for the Buta [link] Forum. This is from the first chapter of Courage.
... Davis's voice droned on and on and on. Chihiro was engaged in what she and Linca called "lecture pose." This was something to adopt when trapped in a really boring lecture. It gave you the ability to nap through it, without being too obvious about it. Before meeting Linca, Chihiro had had to run the risk of discovery and embarrassment as falling asleep leaning on the desk was risky as elbows tended to slide and you ended up smacking the desk with your face.
However, Linca being on the petite side, and a good head shorter than Chihiro, could easily rest her head between Chihiros neck and shoulder. Chihiro could then rest her head on Lincas head so it did not slip when she dozed off. From the front it looked as if they were both sitting up and paying attention. It was perfect, though it did cause some nasty rumours about their relationship with each other. Chihiro used to blush when people told her these things, but Linca brazenly admitted to anything she was accused of.
"It really puts people off if you seem happy to admit it," she had told Chihiro. "And I pick up more men this way! They seem to be very keen if they think you like women more than them.
I've just recently rediscovered the joys of Spirited Away [Gods, this film . . . ] and am currently making my first tentative foray into SA fanfiction. Your work [as I begin reading] is shaping up to be some of the most intelligent, enjoyable writing I've come across in a genre that so far appears to be a little lacking in originality . . . I am so looking forward to the read I have ahead of me, and I'm so glad I've stumbled across someone so talented!
And am I mistaken, or are you a fellow SesshXRin lover? [judging from one of your favourites that just happened to pop up while I checked out your profile page] Yet another reason to add you to my friends list!
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
Each week, one random day, I will go through one section in the Resource Category of DeviantArt and search for new (some times old) stock images that promote Green Art or Recycling. 100 (yes 100!) deviations will be selected from now on in each Volume, in which one of the stock artists will get a short feature at the end.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

I admit: I have attempted Alchemy by clapping my hands and by drawing an array... unfortunately... all were failed attempts.
